Sponsorship Program

IN THE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM AN INDIVIDUAL, GROUP, ORGANIZATION, OR BUSINESS COMMITS TO DONATING A LARGE ENOUGH SUM OF MONEY TO ALLOW THE SPONSORED PROJECT TO BEGIN DEVELOPMENT WHILE ADDITIONAL FUNDS ARE BEING RAISED.

The initial project for which funds are being sought are listed below in the order of importance as determined by Fr. Emanuel and Support the Poor. Other projects will follow as these are completed.

Medical Clinic
Children’s Houses
Deep Water Well and Storage Container
School Building
Staff House
Administrative Building
Library
Dining Hall
Volunteer House
Sewing Room
Grain Mill Room
Solar Power System

While sponsorship funding is necessary to begin construction of each project, additional funds will be needed to complete the project or to purchase equipment and supplies, pay for salaries and benefits, and to cover maintenance and utility expenses.

Our Mission

The Tanzanian Children’s Project is devoted to raising funds for the development of the Our Lady of Fatima Center for Children (OLFCC) orphanage center in Mahida, Tanzania in partnership with the local parish of the Sacred Heart Church.

The long term goals of OLFCC are to provide housing for orphans, health care for the local community, a source of clean water, and guaranteed education for all children of the community regardless of any pre-existing conditions that would presently limit their ability to attend school.
