A well will be installed to guarentee a safe and convenient source of water for the orphanage. Storage containers will be added to assure a steady source of water when electricity, which is sporadic in this part of Tanzania, is not available.
Benefits of the Water WellA water well will supply a safe and convenient source of water. The health of everybody in the community with access to the well will improve. In particular, those currently suffering with from illnesses due to disease or malnutrition will benefit as their immune systems will not be further compromised with a less pure source of water.
Children should perform better in school as they will miss fewer days of school due to illness.
