Building a better future.
At the present time almost 40 orphans are being cared for by the several sisters of the religious order Adorer Missionary Sisters of the Poor. The convent located within walking distance of the Malowa Medical Dispensary. Eventually homes will built to house these orpahns and many more from the local community. Many orphans in ths area are being cared for by family members in accordance with community tradition. All of them will receive free medical treatment at the Malowa dispensary. The Tanzanian Children's Project recently began raising money online to support Sister Mary Wandia's own fundraising efforts to support the orphans cared for at the convent.
